New Sensations/Digital Sin Threaten Lawsuit Over DVD Piracy

New Sensations intends to pursue legal action against an unnamed party that they believe is pirating New Sensations and Digital Sin products.

"This has been going on for a long time and is currently under investigation," says New Sensations president Scott Taylor. "Lawsuits will be filed and action will be seen all the way through."

Taylor wants buyers to keep a keen eye out for what may be pirated product in order to assist New Sensations in their plans for prosecution. "I also want other adult companies to be aware of this problem. We are not the only ones this is happening to, although the source of the problem seems to be the same.

"I want people to understand that they should be buying our product from reputable dealers," Taylor said. "They will know it's not our product by a noticeable degradation in the video quality. The product is designed as a DVD 9, which holds the higher resolution video, and the pirated version is a DVD 5."

Pirated copies can also be spotted by the lack of the Digital Sin logo on the disc, and many of the pirated versions are identifiable by KT catalog number listed on the inside ring of the disc.

Additionally, Taylor and company have been experiencing problems with Canadian versions of their product being imported and sold in the United States, which breaks copyright laws.

Taylor notes that no credit will be issued for any pirated or Canadian resold product.
