New "Sell Engine" Launched: Universal Playthings

The Private Label Online Store Platform, for adult Webmasters looking for new revenue opportunities by way of their own branded stores for "highly differentiated pleasure products," has been unwrapped by Universal Playthings.

Affiliate Webmasters can earn commissions as high as 55 percent and get their stores online within moments of signing up, Universal Playthings said announcing the new program, and the service itself is free to Webmasters 

"Webmasters today need new ways to earn as much money as they can from the traffic and audiences that they have," said chief executive officer Jason Diesel in a statement. "Many sites have reached a critical-mass in terms of audience size, with most seeing little or no new growth.  This means that revenues stay steady. While predictability is nice, increased profitability is better. That's where we come in."

Diesel said that by paying the commissions up to 55 percent and offering such products as UP's popular LoveLeash and LavaLoob, Webmasters can leverage their existing audiences and go for maximum profits. And those who sign up for the platform can have as many stores as they want, picking their own color schemes close enough to their own base Websites, upload logos and grab banners and links, and let UP do the rest, from hosting to transaction to fast delivery and on-time payouts.

"Our stores are highly stylized and come in several different colors," he said. "It takes just 5 minutes to sign up for a store and have it online. Because the stores have the webmasters' logo on it, their audience feels as though they are buying the product from the webmaster's site. There is already a trust relationship there. Having a branded store makes the most of this trust."

The company's UPSeller directs more traffic back to the store owners' sites, especially if they use LoveLeash in photo or video shoots for their sites, Diesel added, while other free products are also available for photo and video shoots.

"The UPSeller service, which soft-launched last month in Beta, has already proven to convert better than many other online toy stores," he said. "And, with the highest payouts in the industry, and the most unique pleasure items available anywhere, (our) Sell Engine  is poised to rapidly make Webmasters more money, fast."

Each Webmaster can also offer customers access to personalized versions of UP's members-only online club, Club LoveLeash, where LoveLeash customers get a digital key when they buy the product and find advanced training. They can also post questions and  see photos and video clips of other customers and adult video stars using the products, as well as celebrity interviews and gender-compatible Leashmates. They can even win prizes, buy merchandise, and audition to star in the next LoveLeash training video, all for free, Diesel said.

Reached for further comment by AVN.com Diesel said UP began as a manufacturer selling to distributors primarily, doing little more online than offering information about their pleasure products, as the company likes to call them.

"As we evolved and began to get to know people in the webmaster community, we learned from our Webmaster friends that they were frustrated with the fact that their revenues had reached a plateau," he said.  "They were not seeing any revenue growth and their traffic and audience size did not seem to grow.  It was obvious that there was an opportunity to help them increase revenues while expanding our own product distribution.

"We looked at different ways to help Webmasters make the most money with us and decided upon building a platform that would give webmasters highly stylized turn-key branded stores that they could direct their audience to," Diesel continued. "The branding aspect is an important one in that it gives the surfer the impression that they are buying the products directly from that webmasters site.  Also important is the fact that the stores are available in several color schemes - to match the tone of webmasters' site as closely as possible.  Of course, our products are so highly differentiated and, well, great, that consumers buy them!"

Diesel also said the company would announce a new service offering "that heals a great and growing pain in the industry," but offered no further details at this time.
