HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – New Porn Order (NPO) has released Miami Rump Shakerz 2, the directorial debut of former WWE wrestler Gangrel the Vampire Warrior. NPO signed the wrestler to a 12-movie exclusive directing deal in September. In addition to directing, he will also be making public appearances for the company.
In a brief return to the WWE, Gangrel was part of a legends royal rumble match celebrating Raw’s 15th Anniversary on Monday.
“I had an amazing time catching up and reminiscing with all my friends in the dressing room last night, it was pretty special to see them all again,” said Gangrel. “I had a great time, I am honored to have participated in this special and I would like to thank WWE for making it happen. This week is a complete whirlwind and I am so excited about it all. Just two days after a very special appearance with the WWE, here I am releasing my first full length DVD, very cool!”
On the subject of his plunge into porn directing, Gangrel told AVN, "I've always been interested in porn. Porn is awesome. It's going to get better as it goes, because it's new to me, I'm green. It's new waters, I'm getting my feet wet, but it's exciting, and it is fun."
On the subject of mixing porn with wrestling, Gangrel said, "I think they both can feed off the energy of each other and become one big monster. Because wrestling fans love porn. Wrestlers love porn. Again, I repeat that, wrestlers love porn."
Gangrel began his career in Florida, wrestling for various independent companies. In 1995, he went on to be a part of the ECW for a short period where he was noticed by the WWE. He signed a contract with the WWE and made his TV debut on Sunday Night Heat in 1998. He was released from the WWF in 2001 and joined the NWA in 2002. The years since then have seen The Vampire Warrior bouncing back and forth between the WWE and the independent circuit.
