PluginFeeds has announced two new client tools designed to bring the company’s reality-content feeds to the next level.
The first new tool allows pay-site owners to feature recent updates and a “coming soon” section on any page of their members’ areas. The second enables PluginFeeds clients to customize the feeds to their members’ needs.
“Regularly updated content is vital to customer retention,” says Lea Buscyk, marketing director for PluginFeeds. “Having updates easily accessible and in expanded formats enables our clients to get new content into their members’ areas faster and more efficiently. Hence, they have the ability to generate revenue by keeping members enticed by the next content update.”
In addition to the updates and “coming soon” feature, clients now are able to use the iFrame HTML tag to include the information within their members areas, making the display of the PlugInFeeds reality content even more seamless.
The company also plans to make other formats, such as XML and RSS, available in the near future.
In response to customer feedback, PluginFeeds now also offers a “direct link to episode” feature that allows site owners to pick and choose the episodes they prefer to link to. A secondary benefit of this feature is that it allows clients to limit customer usage by displaying only a limited number of episodes. This new “direct link to episode feature” is available upon client request.
