Following what its creators call complaints over the current system, where many users click one personals site only to get redirected to another company's sites, SDM Media has unwrapped a new gay/lesbian personals Website, eGay.
“In our opinion, the member incentives used by other personals sites either consists of an extremely limited trial period or a member base so small that the time spent filling out exhaustive profile essay questions has been in vain," said eGay spokesperson Molto. "To prevent similar experiences, eGay is offering its members free lifetime memberships. We are investing in our members and want to build a large, friendly community where you can meet someone online.”
They're also offering what they say is the best technology for live video feeds powering Webcam chat in real time, plus video profiles.
"eGay members love the simplicity of the site and its ease of use," SDM says of initial feedbackon the site. "The automated interface represents three years of intensive and innovative programming, which includes a copyrighted validation system where members who actually know each other offline can validate one another at the site. Credibility, accountability, and respectability: are these not the values gay single people want in a potential match?"
Features also include forums, fast picture personals, free e-mail, offline circuit party guides, roommate finders, matchmaking, and online messenger capability.
“We are extremely proud to offer gay single people an alternative for meeting credible people," Molto said, "and we will continue to offer free lifetime memberships for the rest of the year”
