Netbilling Expands Fraud Tools, Call Center

Netbilling, Inc. has expanded its Fraud Defense tools and implemented a Visa-developed cardholder authentication process aimed at cutting back merchant liability and chargeback protection, the company announced May 28.

"Having the proper fraud tools and full control over their use allows internet merchants to minimize fraud while maximizing sales. Netbilling's multiple fraud filters including location verification, and now Verified by Visa, allows merchants to conduct online transaction processing with confidence," said Netbilling chief executive officer Sarah Farber in a statement.

She said online fraud is rising enough that providing merchants with advanced risk management tools is hugely important. "These features, coupled with a newly expanded 24/7/365 call center available to merchants and their clients, help combat not only credit card and check (ACH) fraud, but customer disputes as well," she said.
