Internet merchant processing service specialists Netbilling introduced version 2.6 of their gateway software, adding new features and increased functionality.
With the new site, membership periods can now be measured in minutes, hours, or days, expanding capabilities for additional subscription options, such as per-minute billing or 30-minute and hourly trials.
In addition, Member Information Lookup Pages can now be linked globally over all of a Netbilling merchant's Websites or they can be site specific. This allows merchants with numerous Netbilling accounts more flexibility over how their members and agents can access data for cancellations, password changes, and more.
Netbilling also added CISP-compliant rebilling, cross-sells, and up-sells in direct mode, giving merchants the ability to manipulate transactions in a variety of ways without having to store cardholder data on their own servers, while still maintaining the look and integrity of their Websites using Betbilling’s API.
"We are very excited about all of the new features in this release and have taken our merchant suggestions to a new level," said Netbilling president Mitch Farber.
In business since 1998, Netbilling is now swipe-terminal compatible, allowing merchants to utilize one interface for all of their transactions regardless of whether it is a card-present or card-not-present environment.
Other Netbilling services include advanced reporting, membership site management, variable fraud-scrubbing, a customizable shopping cart system, and inbound/outbound call center services.
