Nectar Entertainment has signed Brett Reez as vice president in charge of sales. He’ll handle sales and distribution, as well as some public relations and promotions.
A longtime acquaintance of Nectar CEO Sean Logan, Reez has worked in adult Internet sales since 1999. “I’d been talking to Sean for six months, since the AEE show in January, waiting for them to ramp up,” he told AVN.com, “and we were able to agree on a contract.”
Reez started out in content sales for I Gallery, the Internet arm of New Frontier Media of Boulder, Colorado. “While I was there,” he said, “we signed agreements with the Hustler Barely Legal line, packaged that into a Web feed and released it to all the adult webmasters.”
His last position before moving to Nectar was vice president of marketing for Herbal L, now called Herbal Groups, which manufactures the male enhancement products Herbal Vivid and Magna RX.
Reez said that what excited him most about Nectar was their Marty Zion line. “This video explosion of scene-driven, hi-tech post-production just blows your mind,” he said. “The line is musically driven and it’s unbelievable. Marty’s got some amazing things up his sleeve.”
