Nautica Thorn has nailed herself an Internet plum: the adult video actress will be a SpiceLive Click Jockey (CJ) for the next year, after winning Spice Clips's contest to find a replacement for departed CJ Holly Hollywood.
"Pretty crazy," Thorn told AVNOnline.com about her first official appearance on June 1. "I did a scene right before [appearing on SpiceLive.com], so I was already tired. The first caller, I came twice. I was dead after that.
"And I had my little balloons on the couch, I had my trophy that I couldn't take home, but yes, the whole night was pretty fun," she continued. "I had only about an hour left of the show, because all the other girls were on the beginning of the show to hype up the [contest] winner."
Thorn joins Ann Marie, Velvet Rose, and Aurora Snow as SpiceLive.com CJs, in which the girls take phone calls, talk to fans, and introduce clips from some of the top adult video companies, according to publicist Carly Milne. "You get to watch a little porn, see some of your favorite girls," Milne said.
The contest was held throughout May, with viewers invited to visit the SpiceLive.com site and vote between Thorn, Ariana Jolie, and Cindy Crawford.
"I was surprised," Thorn said about winning the contest. "I thought Ariana was going to win." Jolie held a polling lead for much of the contest until more complete vote counting showed Thorn pulling away.
Thorn said she's enjoying herself so far. "I like being on that show. I have my regular callers that call me, and know what they want. And I have my special clips that I show. It's good."
