Gay Adult Video-on-Demand (VoD) provider NakedSword.com returned from the 2005 Internext Expo with a record five awards from the annual Cybersocket Web Awards and a highly-revered nomination in the 2005 XBiz Awards.
In addition to winning best video streaming site (both industry and surfer’s choice) for the third consecutive year, the company also took home top honors for two of its media sites – WetPalms.com (best live XXX show) and GayPornBlog.com (best blog site). Parent company Cubik Media took home the award best web development company.
“This caps a truly outstanding year for us,” said NakedSword.com president, Tim Valenti. “We’re extremely honored to be presented with this much recognition, both from the industry and adult video consumers.”
NakedSword.com is the world’s largest Gay VoD provider with over 3,500 titles from major studios including Falcon, Hot House, Lucas Entertainment, COLT, Rascal and Titan Media.
Host and Rascal/Channel 1 Releasing president Chi Chi LaRue was on hand to congratulate Valenti as were John Rutherford from COLT Studio, Steven Scarborough from Hot House, and Brett Drysdale from Jet Set Productions.

Valenti is not content to rest on his laurels, however. In addition to producing its own content – the company ventured into production last year with the highly successful gay porn soap Wet Palms, in conjunction with Jet Set and the also-nominated Tim & Roma Show Webcast – NakedSword.com plans to debut a re-engineered mega-site this spring with increased titles and viewing options.
“We’ve been making adult video available online for nearly a decade now – I don’t know if we can ever top the success tonight,” admits Valenti with a wink. “But we’re certainly going to try.”
