NakedSword.com Premieres The Tim and Roma Show

NakedSword.com president Tim Valenti and "porn-again nun" Sister Roma are bringing The Tim and Roma Show (a.k.a. Weekly Report with Tim and Roma) to a slightly different level, moving the Webcast away from a NakedSword.com-specific show and toward a show covering the entire spread of gay adult entertainment.

The show's plan is to let couch time be shared between top gay adult stars like Josh Weston, Marcus Iron, and Michael Lucas, and top directors like Chi Chi La Rue, John Rutherford, Steven Scarborough, and Mike Youens, not to mention "industry gossips" such as Dan Renzi and Mark Kleim, and activists like Will Clark and the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.

Director of strategic marketing Reena Patel said much of the change has to do with having more people involved in the production, and more interest from international markets.

"We've been filmed for German television, and we'll be filmed for Swedish television," she told AVNOnline.com, "and there's a possibility of airing the show on cable television as well as online."

The show began three years ago, when Valenti sought a way to get more interaction with NakedSword.com Website members.

"He wanted to give them an avenue to see what's going on with the adult gay porn world," Patel said. "And it just sort of developed into its own world. Basically, it went from a member service on our site, and it became the show, which is more of a stand-alone show now that caters to the whole gay adult industry.

"A lot of it has to do with having more people involved; we have a person filming and editing who has quite a bit of experience editing this kind of media, but we're moving it away from a NakedSword.com show and branching out."

The show's immediate plans also include presenting an installment filmed with Michael Lucas on the road, and attending and covering this year's GayVN Awards in Hollywood.

Valenti himself didn't realize how strongly the show would catch on. "Due to its popularity, the show flourished and transformed into an ever-evolving world of video coverage, original interviews, and gut clenching humor - its own gay adult entertainment show," he said.

?We watch and talk about porn like our viewers do - with a grain of salt, a big grin and an even bigger hard-on," added Sister Roma, who joined the show last year, when it was still Weekly Report.

?We are going to expand our presence and cover all kinds of events, all over the country, while broadening our reach and pursuing broadcasting opportunities in different types of media, such as television and radio," Valenti said. "Our aim is to develop (the show) into a household name as the leading resource for gay adult news and entertainment. We?ve grown a lot in this past year and I think that 2004 is going to allow us to explore new and exciting opportunities.?
