NakedSword.com Launches NakedSword 3.0 Turbo

Gay adult video-on-demand provider NakedSword.com has launched NakedSword 3.0 Turbo, a massive redesign that features new movies and new purchase options and complies with the new 2257 record-keeping regulations.

“We created NakedSword 3.0 for customers who wanted more options in gay adult video online,” said Tim Valenti, president of NakedSword.com. “We worked hard to get movies they requested, including big budget spectaculars like Colt’s Buckleroos and Falcon Studios’ Taking Flight and smaller, niche films like Dark Alley Media’s Mutiny. We updated our look to make sure we stay the most attractive and efficient VoD site on the Web, and response has been overwhelmingly positive.”

The new NakedSword 3.0 integrates the membership model previously known as the NakedSword General Cinema, with its pay-per-view sibling, E-ticket. The new VIP Membership area gradually will become more selective in its content as NakedSword redefines the area with newer, in-demand films for its more discriminating users. Non-members will be able to purchase any movie on the site in its entirety and some by scene.

NakedSword 3.0 was designed to promote and brand studios better than the site’s earlier incarnations, with multiple flash banners, dynamic box covers, and extensive studio pages to help members connect the movies they love with the companies that produce them.

“We really want viewers to develop relationships with individual studios, since studio affiliation is the strongest indicator of whether a viewer will enjoy a subsequent film on our site. Many members still make their decisions based on a particular star,” said Valenti. “We’d like to educate them to make better choices.”

NakedSword was on the verge of relaunching its site in late May when the new 2257 regulations were signed into effect. Valenti made the decision to delay the launch until the new design was 2257-compliant. NakedSword.com, a member of the Free Speech Coalition, now houses 2257 records for models and sexually explicit images used on the site in a secure, locked room.

“The integrity of the product and the confidentiality of the models are our highest concerns,” said Valenti. “We hope for an end to government intervention, but in the meantime, we’re keeping all our records safe, accurate and up-to-date.”
