Gay Video-on-Demand (VoD) site NakedSword.com has announced plans for the NakedSword Online Film Festival, beginning March 3 and featuring four of the ten 2005 GayVN Best Picture nominees.
The movies—Buckshot/COLT Studio’s BuckleRoos, Falcon Studios’ Taking Flight, Hot House Entertainment’s Perfect Fit and Wet Palms, a Jet Set Productions/NakedSword.com original presentation—will be available via pay-per view on a limited, one-week basis, exclusively on NakedSword.com.
“We’ve chosen the most talked about films of the year,” said NakedSword president Tim Valenti “And—with the exception of Wet Palms—none have been online before.”
“We’re really excited by the enthusiasm shown by the studios themselves for this promotion,” Valenti continued. “It’s a great chance for them to promote their product and brand their studio and it’s a great honor for us to be able to host them.”
Valenti’s company will also have an extensive presence at the GayVN Awards themselves, airing the complete show on NakedSword.com and taping a special on-location special for the site’s Tim and Roma! Show webcast.
The GayVN Awards (www.gayvnawards.com) will be held March 10 at Rage in West Hollywood, California. The other best picture nominees are Titan Media’s Back to Barstow, Rascal Video’s Bolt, Raging Stallion Studios’ Gay Dreams 2, Titan’s Horse: Fallen Angel 5, Lucas Entertainment’s Lost and Catalina Video’s 69: Discover the Secret.
