LOS ANGELES—Photographer Michael Grecco's glimpse into the world of adult entertainment, Naked Ambition: An R-Rated Look at an X-Rated Industry, hits DVD in the United States and Canada April 20 from Phase 4 Films.
Captured during the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas, Naked Ambition follows stars Sunny Lane and Joanna Angel, with appearances by such industry giants as Jenna Jameson, Jesse Jane, Ron Jeremy, Larry Flynt and Steven Hirsch.
Naked Ambition is based on Grecco’s coffee table book of the same name. Prints from the book were featured in a recent exhibition at the Museum of Sex in New York. The film was released theatrically in April 2009.
“Michael’s documentary provides an unexpected portrait of the personalities who inhabit the porn industry," said Phase 4 president and CEO Berry Meyerowitz. "Whatever preconceived notions you may have of adult entertainment, this film is a thoughtful and entertaining insight into people’s lives. The DVD also works as a perfect companion to Grecco’s beautiful coffee table book.”

The Naked Ambition DVD will include eight deleted scenes and the unrated trailer, among other extras. It will be available for a $29.99 SRP in the U.S. and a $32.99 SRP in Canada at all major retailers.
