NJ Films Ships First All-Black Title

NJ Films began moving its first all-black title, Hit Dat Shit, to distributors and stores across the country today.

NJ Films co-owner John Knowles said the idea for the title came about during the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo in January, when the company fielded numerous requests for an all-black line. NJ has been working to brand itself as an interracial company, releasing its first 14 titles in that genre. But Hit Dat Shit marks the beginning of what will be several all-black titles coming from the barely one-year-old producer.

“This is my favorite movie out of all of ours,” Knowles told AVN.com Tuesday. “We picked the cast we wanted and put the right people together. We had been doing all interracial, so I think to go and do some all-black stuff is just a natural progression.”

Knowles said that his partner, Nelson Blanton, named the video while in Vegas.

“We had a notepad we were carrying around with us,” Knowles said. “When Nelson came up with this title, it stuck.”

The video includes over three hours of footage in addition to 30 minutes of behind-the-scenes and a bonus b.j. The box cover features gold foil trim.

“This is the best packaging we’ve done. … I’m excited about where we are,” Knowles said. “We’re going to expand our all-black line. We’re going to start shooting Hit Dat Shit No. 2 next week, an all-black Coxxx and Soxxx, and an all-black lesbian line, too.”

The video features performances by Monique and Jada Fire, who had no qualms about roughing each other up before Nat Turnher arrived and took them to task himself.

“There was some stuff that we just could not put in the movie,” Knowles said. “But 99 percent of it made it in.”

At one point, Monique stuff’s Fire’s face into her ass and says, “You don’t deserve to breath bitch!”

Sexy Lady Armani meets big Sledge Hammer in scene two before newcomer Lady Latrese hooks up with Julius. Carmen Hayes and veteran Julian St. Jox deliver a high-energy session in the closer.

The street date for the DVD is March 1.
