Private, Video Marc Dorcel, Hot Video and a consortium of the biggest Italian producers provided the adult parties in Cannes this year. The Italian party, held at a magnificent villa, was sponsored by Max Bellochio, Mario Salieri's Power Vision, XY Pictures' Ralf Scott, Luca Damiano and Riccardo Billi's Gold Pictures, Goldlight (Hans Nussbaum) and J.B.R. Media.

Food, drink and a disco, as well as fabulous outdoor ambiance, highlighted a party attended by hundreds of European producers, starlets and a smattering of Americans (Missy, Mickey G., Mark David, Kobe Tai, Vicca, Nikita, Vince Voyeur and others).

Private's three-day beach event combined an outdoor bar with several fashion shows and sporting events featuring the very beautiful Private girls. Hundreds of photographers went cuckoo over the scantily clothed women, while events such as wrestling, nude volleyball and mambo contests entertained thousands of onlookers, as well as invited guests. The press coverage included front-page stories in the Hollywood Reporter and Variety.

Hot Video's annual lunch, held the afternoon before the Hot D'Or, also entertained invited guests and a massive press throng. Girls posed clothed and unclothed as industry guests delighted in a fabulous buffet.

Another annual beach event, Video Marc Dorcel's all-night party, was an overcrowded affair with massive security that prevented some invitation holders from attending. Everyone eventually got inside, ate and drank and grooved to the sounds of French pop music into the wee hours. Every major adult star and company was in attendance.
