My2257 Version 2 Released

Edge Data Systems LLC has released Version 2 of its my2257 record-management software.

Among the many updated features and are a newly added read-only my2257 Custodian solution that displays only the pertinent information required by sections 75.2(a) through 75.2(e) during inspections: the legal name of the performer, his or her date of birth, picture identification, distribution of images, depiction of images, and all other content in which the performer appears.

Marketing director and company founder Dave Slaughter says many of the revisions are due to client input about how to improve upon the system. Version 2 now implements full user name and password administration as well as a revision checker that allows any administrator the ability to review changes and deletions before they become permanent.

My2257 is a Windows application. Users don’t need to be UNIX gurus to run the system. Plug-and-Play and TWAIN compatibility are built into my2257: Simply scan or print directly into the program.

The new version of my2257 is suitable not only for small companies that only need a single workstation, but also for companies with larger, more structured networks. My2257 Enhanced Network version allows for clustering of servers and multiple location backups. All versions of my2257 now offer database backups.

My2257’s clients include Danni’s Harddrive, MaxCash, Bondage.com, LFP Inc., Slave Labor Productions, Femme Fusion Inc., Twixil Inc., Dynamic Networks, BDP Entertainment Inc., and Penthouse.

Developed and marketed by Edge Data Systems LLC, my2257 has been nominated as Solution Provider of the Year in the Fourth Annual XBiz Awards.
