Money Situation Far From Love Lee

Mark Spiegler can relate to Scotty Schwartz's current dilema with Love Lee. Schwartz says Lee owes him money. Schwartz used to be her manager. Schwartz says he can't get his money.

Schwartz: "She was known as Lee. Now she's known as Love Lee. I was managing her for about 11 weeks. I made her about $11,000 in 11 weeks. She paid me a couple of hundred in the beginning. And the bill kept going up and she always came up with an excuse why she couldn't pay me. I don't have any money this and that, she didn't have her checkbook. She tells her boyfriend, fuck Scotty, I'm not going to pay him anything. The boyfriend is Mariah's brother. Mariah is another one of the girls who's with me. The brother tells the sister and the sister tells me. So now I know I'm getting ready to get screwed.

"I get her [Love Lee] a $2,000 job and a $900 job in one week. Then she tells me she has no money, extra bills came in. This is a 19 year-old girl who has no car payments. She lives in a $800 a month apartment. She has $3,000 worth of bills in one week? Yeah. Then I hear about the parties, the pot, the bullshit. She tells me she has no money, two days later she goes out to buy a car stereo for $500. This has been going on for a couple of months now. Finally I talked to her about two weeks ago. I said we need to get this straightened out. I told her I got you the work I got you. You owe me what you owe me plain and simple. I even negotiated the payoff. So, instead of eight-something it would be $550. She said to me and I quote: 'You cheap Jew bastard. All you want is your fucking money.' I said am I a cheap Jew bastard if I'm negotiating a third of what you owe me because I'm being nice to get it out of the way. Get me some money and that's the end of me.

"I said let's get some of it paid by the 4th or 5th of December. She said now you're putting a fucking time limit on it? I said yeah. It's been eight weeks. Now it's 11 weeks. This is ridiculous. I said give me half and we'll take care of the rest by the first of the year and get it out of the way. She said I'll see what I can do. I said look, if you don't give me anything by the 4th or 5th the deal's off. I'm not going to give you a discount. She said I'll do an extra night of dancing. I called her yesterday from a friends because I know she has caller ID and wouldn't pick up. She sells hello. I said it's Scotty. She said 'I know what you want; I don't have time for you'...click. She hangs up the phone. I called her cellphone back. I said you're not living up to your agreement. She's a little piece of garbage who lies and steals and will manipulate and do whatever she has to do to fuck somebody over. This is also a girl who when she was with me told me implicity that she would never do an anal scene for under $1200. Then I find out she worked for Kianna Bradley and Earl Slate for $700 down in the Marina.

G. Ross: "But that's the Marina rates."

Schwartz: "Yeah. The discount water rates. I had booked her a girl-girl shoot with Jim Enright. Of course she was only going to make $400 for 40 minutes worth of work. She gives me the story that she was stuck in the Marina at a friend's boat and she couldn't get back. Of course at that time I didn't know that she was lying to me. Of course two days later the person that takes her down to the Marina, is Mariah's mother. This has been going on and on, and this girl, basically, is a piece of shit.

"I've been good to all the companies and I bring them talent, and if they're going to hire this girl I would appreciate it if somebody would just cut the check to me and say, 'You owe the man the money. Get it paid.' I'm not going to let her continue to let her lie and bullshit. It's wrong. I treat my girls well. Shit happens. Fuck me over, at some point it comes to this."

Love Lee had this to say:

Lee: "I love how he [Schwartz] tries to ruin somebody's career. I really don't do porn anymore. I still do some work like girl-girl, but for the most part, no. The reason I fired him, is because when the Tony Montana thing came out, I was out on a Jill Kelly shoot and he never called me to let me know if I was on the quarantine list. I called him crying and he never called me back. It was like he was only in it for the money. And, now, when I went to go pay him, he tried to charge me a way high amount of money. Way higher than anything I ever owed him. I said, Scotty, you're not going to make me want to pay you if you're trying to rip me off. I can't pay you more than I owe you. Everytime he tries to call me, it's at a bad time and I don't like the way he comes at me. I have no intentions of trying to rip him off or flip him off. "I owe him $515. He says I owe him like $800 or $900."

G. Ross: "His story is that he's willing to negotiate for $500."

Love Lee: "Things change when people say things to other people. The whole time when he was my manager he never did anything for me but try to take my money. It's a real serious thing when my life was at risk and want to know if any guy that I worked with was on the quarantine list. If it's something like that, he doesn't even bother to call me back. But he will call me if I'm a day late on paying him. He says one thing, but he's in it for another. It's just killing my world. And I didn't have any money. I was struggling to pay my rent, and he can't understand that. I asked him if I could pay half and half, and it's like he wants the whole thing. He says, 'Do you want me to get you a boy-girl so I can take the whole thing?' I said no, Scotty, I fired you for a reason. I don't want you to get me work. I don't want to work for you. I don't want anything to do with you. I will give you your money, but I really don't make a $1,000 in one day anymore. I'm not doing videos anymore. I can't hand over $500 in one day. That's physically impossible. I can't give him something I really don't have. It's like his way or no way. I know I'm not handling it correctly, but he's not making it any easier.

"And why is he talking to you about it? It's a manager-client relationship. I don't think he should be bothering everybody. I have every intention of paying him. He blows things way out of proportion. He is a Jew and he needs his money, I guess. Whatever."

Schwartz comments on the Tony Montana allegations.

Schwartz: "She is a classic. As far as Tony Montana, I was not in Los Angeles. That was all during the East Coast Show, and I was there. I told her, I don't have the full list. Here's AIM's number. Call them and they will give you the exact up-to-the-moment list. That was what I could do because we were all at East Coast. Then she basically turned it on me and said I did nothing. I said bullshit. I gave you AIM's number. They have every single guy and every single list. I am the fountain of information, but when I'm in New Jersey, I can't run to Sharon Mitchell's and get everything."

Schwartz said he has no problem with $515. He just wants it done, over and taken care of. "I want to get paid before the millennium," he says.

Schwartz added a postscript in an email: "Gene, As per our conversation earlier today, I just wanted to add one thing. I am prepared to take Love Lee to small claims court if it comes to that, and that would entail getting a lot of producers/directors written statements, and documents to colaborate with me being her manager, and handling her for work. If she comes forward and pays me what she owes me, we can avoid this whole situation. Anyone who is "friend" of her's, please relay this message to her, I am serious about this and if she wants to push it, I've been here for 12 years and plan to be here for a very long time to come. I have a great reputation, and great relationships with most everyone in the business..she'll be here for about 5 more minutes if this is how she does business. Enough about that.

"Also... I would personally like to congratulate Alexa Rae on her signing with Wicked Pictures. Although I no longer represent her, I know I was an intricate part of her getting in with Wicked. After having 3 meetings, and several telephone conversations with her and Steve Orenstein, owner of Wicked she felt in her words, "that I could no longer further her adult film career". Well, that's kinda tough when you help get someone to the top of the mountain. I may not have negotiated her contract, but I helped get her there. Her former manager could not get her a meeting for 4 months with Steve, I made 1 phone call and made it happen. I am thrilled for her, and wish Alexa and Wicked a long, prosperous relationship. She's a great girl and I hope that she becomes everything she wants to be. She has said that Jenna is the 'Queen of Porn', and all she wants to be is the new "princess of porn", well, all my blessings to you Alexa. Be well and stay inside, it's cold out there!!!!!! =) Scotty Schwartz. SRS Management
