Mofo Wear Music Video Hopes to Rock MTV2, VH1

Porn-premised Mofo Wear hopes to be the next entry in the mainstreaming of adult sweepstakes.

The manufacturer of striking shirts and hats emblazoned with such in-your-face slogans as “Born to Porn” and “Crucified for Porn,” has finished shooting a hip-hop music video starring rapper Kemo “The Blaxican” and featuring the Mofo Wear Girls – a stable of top porners that includes Cytherea, AVN’s newly-crowned Best New Starlet, and Belladonna.

Company owner Jimmy Mofo, who directed the final scene for the “Sinner for Life” video last Thursday night at Xotic Studios in Chatsworth, said he hopes to get it aired on a mainstream music video channel despite the fact that it is essentially a promotional vehicle for his company.

“We’re gonna try to get it on MTV2, VH1, MTV Europe and MTV Latin,” Mofo, who wrote the lyrics for “Sinner for Life,” told AVN.com. Before going solo, Kemo used to be in the Latin hip-hop group Delinquent Habits, which released four albums and toured with the likes of Korn and Ice T.

Other Mofo Wear Girls appearing in the video include Olivia O’Lovely, Flower Tucci, Reina Leona, Kayla Marie, Vandalia and fetish model Nikki 666.

Mofo said there will be two versions of the video a “porno” version, which despite that characterization won’t have anything racier in it than the girls giving head to a dil, and the tamer “MTV version.”

Whether it ever airs on a music channel, the three-minute-plus video will be posted on the company’s Website, mofowear.net. The project also will be included in a 90-minute promotional DVD that Mofo intends to distribute free of charge at retail outlets such as those on trendy Melrose Avenue.

A certain adult trade magazine also would get mainstream exposure if the video makes it onto a music channel. “Sinner for Life” opens with Mofo reading a recent issue of AVN and also features Evil Angel’s Buttman Magazine as well.

Mofo said he’s aiming to complete post-production on the video by March 15.
