Mocha Pregnant/Midori Re-signs with Video Team/East Coast Mag Snoops Around on DeNiro Exposé

signs with Video Team/East Coast Mag Snoops Around on DeNiro Exposé

The rumor about Video Team not re-signing Midori was true - technically, speaking, according to Video Team's Chris Mann.

Mann: "After much negotiating we did reach an agreement, and Midori has signed on for another year. It was a true rumor. I wasn't going to re-sign her, but we worked it out. The difficulty was establishing a scaled-down version of her previous year's contract. It was Midori's and Video Team's need to release less product and not flood the market. It was a way of how to re-sign her without overexposing her. We're on a friendly basis. There was no controversy, other than I thought she was going to be too extensive of a contract. In finding out that she wanted to spend more time focusing on a dance career, it worked out. The timing was good. Both of us wanted a more scaled-down contract for about half the amount of work for half the amount of money."

Midori is also branching out in the directing area. She did one show last year and is about to co-direct a big budget feature with Bud Lee called The United Colors of Ass.

Mocha's contract, according to Mann, is being extended to accommodate her pregnancy. Mocha will be out of work from five to six months. She's due in October. The lucky father is her boyfriend who's not in the business. Consequently, Video Team will put an emphasis on performer, Chocolate. Because of Mocha's condition, VT is doing a quick turnaround to get the sequel out to The Twins, its most recent blockbuster. It stars Mocha and Chocolate.

Notorious Magazine, a New York tabloid, has been hammering away at Video Team trying to get the scoop on Charmaine Sinclair who's been in negotiations with the company to be a porn star. If the name doesn't ring a familiar note, Sinclair has been romantically linked to actor Robert DeNiro in some of the tabloids.

However, Mann said Video Team has no interest to help or cooperate with the magazine in giving DeNiro a hard time. The door is open, though, between Sinclair and the company.

Tiffany Mynx shoots the boxcover for Video Team's No Man's Land 26 today. Mynx will do her scene tomorrow.

[Rob Black, by the way, does an excellent DeNiro impression.]
