-- Mitch Spinelli is no stranger to the world of porn. Son of adult film legend Anthony Spinelli, Mitchell has spent the last several years making his own mark as a producer and director. Following the sale of his Plum Productions, the younger Spinelli has been hard at work on his new label, Rain Productions. Mitchell hopes that Rain will come to be known as a younger, hipper company.\n "Like my dad, I'm mostly known for features," says Spinelli. "Recently, I've been making the transition to gonzo-type tapes. A lot of these guys who started out doing movies years ago can't make that transition."\n Rain already has several successful, ongoing series in the can. These include Dog Tales, which is a series of vignettes (the first edition is a Wall-to-Wall Spotlight Pick in this issue); Black Avenger, Rain's ethnic line; White Panty Chronicles, which is packed with new faces; and Spinelli's apparent favorite, Nasty, Filthy Cab Rides.\n "With Nasty, Filthy Cab Rides we're able to do what the HBO series [Taxicab Confessions] can't: show real sex."\n As the title implies, Cab Rides puts the sex in the back seat of a cab, complete with a real cab driver, and takes it all over L.A. The genuine reactions of the drivers are priceless.\n "For part four, I had Malitia and Temptress in the back seat," says Spinelli. "They started flashing the driver right away, and then went at it. The poor guy's eyes were bugging out."\n By the time this sees print, Rain's newest releases will be Nasty, Filthy Cab Rides 5, Dog Tales 4, Black Avenger 9, and White Panty Chronicles 3.
