The lovely faces chosen to grace the 2010 Urban X Awards ceremony have been revealed. Adult stars Misty Stone and Dana DeArmond will share hosting duties for the event, which will be held in July in Hollywood.
Stone, who has had a very busy year already, is starring in Not the Cosbys XXX 2, released by Hustler and X-Play and out in stores now. She also will be seen in Tru A XXX Parody, for New Sensations; A Love Triangle, for Sweet Sinner; Chocolate Sorority Sistas 6, for the Candy Shop; and Angels of Debauchery 8, for Evil Angel. In addition to her work in adult titles, Stone will be one of the co-stars on Cinemax’s Co-Ed Confidential this spring.
“I’m very excited about hosting the [Urban X] awards this year,” Stone enthused. “This is a very important award show, and I’m honored to be a part of this.”
DeArmond, who also has been very active this year, boasts several new releases out now, including Black Listed 2, for Vince Vouyer Unleased; Fuck Me Like You Hate Me 2, for Anarchy Films; and Road Queens 14, for Girlfriends Films.
“I’m very happy to be back at the awards this year,” DeArmond said, adding that she is “especially excited about co-hosting with the sexy Misty Stone.”
Production companies, talent and directors can submit pre-nominations by going to UrbanXAwards.com and clicking on the nomination button. Pre-nominations end April 15. Fan voting will start on April 22 and continue through May 26.
The Urban X Awards celebrate and showcase the best achievements of black, Latin, Asian and interracial productions. Giana Taylor will once again produce the ceremony, which will be the third annual incarnation of the awards. The event is open to the public, and tickets are on sale now at UrbanXAwards.com.
