Lobbyist Mike Ross says he was extremely "perturbed" by remarks attributed to him on Luke Ford's website yesterday.
Ross: "I'm really pissed at the stories Luke wrote. That story, no matter what you think of it, is a compilation of stuff that was put together over a 3-6 month period. What he's been doing is collecting stories and saving them and then doing cut-and-paste type of stuff. Some of the stuff that Luke is talking about [anti-trust and collusion] is not projecting me properly. I think the Free Speech board knows exactly what I'm talking about. I'm not worried that they're price fixing. What I'm concerned about is that the way they're marching down the road, that could lead to price-fixing and anti-trust. And that's the problem that you have to watch out for with any trade organization. That's really important. The reality is that Luke leaves that stuff out, and I felt what Luke did was unfair."
AVN's Mark Kernes spoke yesterday to Dr. Mark Henrickson of the NEVHC [Northeast Valley Health Corporation]. Henrickson told Kernes that he's not at liberty to comment on Marc Wallice's ELISA tests - the one that refers to Wallice as 49 and female - due to restrictions of the law. Henrickson told Kernes that he'd have to ask Wallice about this discrepancy. Kernes brought up the fact that, what was produced to Wallice at VCA, was allegedly the original test from Henrickson's files. When Kernes suggested that Henrickson would be the logical one to comment on these apparent discrepancies rather than Wallice, Henrickson told Kernes that he [Kernes] would have to speak to the district attorney.
