Metro Goes High End in Wonderland

Taking a page out of Hollywood, Metro Interactive goes the feature route with a story-driven title that mixes drama with hardcore sex in Wonderland.

Set for release Wednesday, Wonderland tells the story of a man obsessed with his stepdaughter's friend who then becomes willing to risk everything for a moment of passion with her.

“I’m interested in well-crafted story lines that engage the viewer,” said DCypher, who directed the movie.

“Too many people that make features try to cut out all of the interesting dialogue and cerebral qualities of their show, either because they are afraid to push their performers or because they don’t understand how it operates inside the narrative. My goal is to find the perfect synergy between the two.”

Featuring a cast of young hotties and veteran male talent, the film aims to engage as well as arouse, DCypher said.

The cast includes Katie Morgan, Violet, Charlie Laine, Candy Summers, Trina Michaels, Steven St. Croix and Herschel Savage, among others.

Earning an AVN Editor’s Choice of 4 1/2 A’s, along with an extensive marketing effort and an innovative cover design featuring an O-ring sleeve over the usual shrink-wrapped cover, the company has high hopes for the title.

“This is by far the biggest release we’ve had in the short time I’ve been with the company,” said Christian Mann, Metro’s vice president of sales, noting near record pre-sale orders for the movie.

“As a salesman, my job is made easy by having an ‘event release’ title such as this. There’s a lot of product shipping this week, but there’s only one Wonderland.
