HOLLYWOOD – Performer/director Melissa Lauren has announced that she will concentrate more on her skills behind the camera than in front, as she retires from boy/girl performing.
Lauren, who has been featured in close to 300 adult titles, will continue to perform with girls, as well as in solo scenes and photo shoots. According to her, the decision was made as her photographic abilities have reached a level of development and the French born starlet felt more comfortable with letting them take precedent.
"My photography is very important to me,” said Lauren, “it lets me express my creativity.
“Directing, for me, lets me express another side of myself…the sexual intensity I have."
Lauren currently helms the Hellfire Sex series for Pariah and has recently directed Plucked Then Fucked and Cumaholics for Combat Zone.
Feature dancing is also still on the brunette beauty's schedule, as she plans to begin hitting strip clubs across the country beginning in Feb.
Lauren assured that she will still be involved with adult entertainment through photography, directing, and performing in hardcore scenes with girls.
Lauren began performing in 2003 when she was 19.
