James Melendy left his position as head of sales at Sin City last week to assume a similar role at Anarchy Films while simultaneously starting his own production company: Python Films. rnrn
Melendy and his fianc'e Jodi Robertson, owner and operator of Naughty Modeling, co-own Python which will be distributed by Anarchy.rnrn
"Basically I wanted to do other things. It has nothing to do with Sin City, David Sturman taught me a lot but it's time to venture off and do other things," Melendy told AVN.com.rnrn
Melendy feels that his decade-plus of sales experience have prepared him for running his own production studio by teaching him what the market wants: "Good hard sex with a nice box cover," he explained.rn rn
Directors Corey Jordan and Dale Jordan will be shooting an as-yet-untitled new line for Python Pictures, the first installment of which should be released by early April.
