If you have trouble selling sites that rebill at $40 or your surfers are afraid of a trial signup, Adult.com has a program for you: the $10 Porn Program.
This gives adult Webmasters a chance to let their surfers get full membership for $9.95 a month and the Webmasters get $25 per join, Adult.com says. With several sites to pick with their own individual separate member's areas, Adult.com says surfers should want to click your links to join again and again.
Marketing director Eric Matis told AVN Online the idea began with a need to try to find a way out of what he called "empty rebills," where a customer got rebilled for something in which he'd lost interest.
"We just kind of came up with it on our own, pretty much," he said of the $10 Porn Program. "There was kind of the whole, 'where does real change need to be made' thinking. We looked at a lot of business models out there, a lot of stuff personally. There's a certain threshold of pain to where (a customer) doesn't even case, gets the rebills each month whether you use it or not. So we kind of looked and got the dollar figure from all those combining factors."
Matis said Adult.com also wanted to put the ordinary surfer into "an environment where he actually feels he's getting bang for his buck and wants to hang around," and to put Webmasters in less of a chargeback-potential than earlier, given the new Visa and MasterCard crackdowns on chargeback levels.
"If you're getting charged forty bucks for something, you're going to look at it but if you don't like it you'll charge it back," he said. "But if you get ten bucks, you're not going to charge it back, you'll just cancel."
The tours featured in the program include exclusive Adult.com content with video previews. The company beta-tested the program for two months before launching it full tilt, and say the conversions were the highest they'd seen and likely to stay high.
Existing Adult.com affiliates in the AdultPlatinum program are signed up already, and they can use their existing linking codes to go in and click the $10 Program to get their link codes and banners for the program.
