Starting with March’s first content update, Matrix Content will deliver all new video in 100-percent high-definition format.
“We already shoot in HD, but now we will be encoding all new content in HD, so we can deliver 100-percent HD to our customers,” says Rashaan. “We believe in providing only the best content, and we figured in order to back that idea, 100-percent HD was a must.”
Adds Asher, “Now that we have 100-percent HD videos and the corresponding pictures are shot with the new Hasselblad [camera], we’ve obtained the pinnacle of quality.”
The company also has embarked upon a mission to re-encode its existing HD videos in hi-def streaming format. It also plans to recompress older, non-HD content to bring it into line with today’s standards.
