Matrix Content has announced separate distribution deals with Metro and Old Pueblo.
Matrix will produce 4-5 titles for Metro via four new lines; Pornstar Station, Matrix Nudes, an as yet untitled girl-girl title, and Matrix Anal. “It’s going to be ultra stylish and sexy,” Norman Bentley, President of Matrix Content, told AVN.com.
Regarding Old Pueblo, Matrix is on board to produce three lines: Matrix Pornstars, Matrix Centerfolds and Matrix Hardcore. In the deal Old Pueblo also acquired cable, satellite and hotel rights for the aforementioned four Metro titles.
“We always planned to do it,” said Bentley of Matrix Content’s new venture, “but it was just a matter of timing and right now the timing couldn’t be better for us.”
Already a well-known Internet company, Bentley is confident in Matrix Content’s crossover success into the DVD market. “I believe we’ll do very well because our images are already very recognizable. People will see the box covers and probably associate the images with something they’ve seen online.”
Even with a wealth of content presently stored in the Matrix library (via glamour photographer Robbye Bentley), enough for 50 DVDs according to Bentley, Matrix will continue to shoot new content. “Robbye will keep on putting the sexiest couples together for the most intense sex scenes,” said Bentley, who will co-produce the new lines with Robbye, who is directing the projects.
Norman also plans to jump behind the camera and direct as well as production ramps up. “It’s a Matrix team effort,” said Bentley.
