AVN Award winner Mason will launch "Through the Camera Lens," her new monthly AVNInsider column, tomorrow.
"You're going to see an insight into the porn world through my eyes. I'd like to tackle some philosophical issues, some moral issues. I'd like to deconstruct what the popular notion of what porn is and try to show it in a positive light," Mason told AVN.com. "I'd like to express all of the positive things I've gained from porn."
While her writing experience per se has been limited to a senior thesis for her Political Science degree, Mason feels that she'll be able to handle herself capably when writing about the lessons she has learned in the adult industry.
Favorite columnists of Mason's include Henri Pachard, whom she notes is an excellent writer, and has been reading Kelly Steele a lot lately.
"Basically I'm ecstatic that AVNInsider has given me a platform to express myself, what I feel, and how I view porn," said Mason. "I've always wanted a column up here."
