Maintaining the sense of civic duty she displayed during her gubernatorial run last year, Kick Ass Pictures exclusive Mary Carey will be giving free adult videos to Hollywood area voters tomorrow at Stan’s of Hollywood.
Carey will be at the adult retail store from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., handing over a signed copy of Run Mary Run, the porn spoof of her own campaign, to any citizen who can demonstrate that they have voted.
“The fate of the free world, and those not so free, depends on your single vote. Realistically, it could be entirely up to you. Your vote could be the one that sends one man packing,” Carey wrote in note accompanying the announcement of the in-store.
“With that kind of weight backing a simple thing like casting a vote, I want to personally thank you for being part of the democratic process. I would like nothing more than to help ease the tension of having to make such a personally intense statement, that could be felt the world over, by giving you some free porn to help you unwind after such an important day. God Bless America!”
Carey isn’t the only member of the adult industry to use their assets to encourage voting: Wicked Pictures is throwing an Election Day party in Hollywood, offering free admittance for citizens with an “I Voted” sticker that will be handed out at polls tomorrow, and Seymore Butts and Mari Possa will be at the Virgin Megastore in Times Square, offering New York’s voters a free DVD to those who can prove they have voted.
