AVN Online would like to remind webmasters and others of a dedicated section for industry press releases on AVNOnline.com. The link to the section can be found under “Web Exclusives” on the left-hand navigation bar, and leads to a searchable archive.
“We had it built in order to more efficiently serve the Adult webmaster community,” said Tom Hymes, editor of AVN Online. “We receive a lot of press releases each day, and up until now have had to choose which ones to write up and which to leave out. With this section, we can finally be selective without excluding the not-so-pressing press releases.”
Hymes added that there are many ways to get news and information to the AVN Online editorial department, but the best way for press releases to be delivered is by email to [email protected].
“However,” he added, “more and more we’re seeing press releases for news that has cross-over relevance for both the video and Internet sides of the business. If you’re not sure where to send your press release, you can always use [email protected], which goes to the staffs at both magazines. But be assured that no matter where you send it we will make sure that it finds its way to the right place, the right writer, and that it receives the personal attention it deserves.”
