AVN Male Performer Of The Year Manuel Ferrara recently released his first non-gonzo vignette production through Red Light District, the aptly-title Mind Fuck.
“I wanted to do something than I do usually, just so I could make my brain work more than just my cock,” Ferrara told AVN.com. “Having different, perverted situations and more than just sex was good for me. I’m already planning Mind Fuck 2 and I am shooting a movie with [AVN Female Foreign Performer Of The Year] Katsumi where she will be the main character and she's going to do things to fuck with me. It’s head games, nothing new in porn but with Katsumi...”
Ferrara still enjoys gonzo but is currently enjoying the feature’s potential for eroticism quite a bit. He has appeared in Vivid and Wicked features quite a bit this year and was talking on the phone to Vivid’s production staff about being new Vivid Girl Stefani Morgan’s first on-screen partner during a break in the interview.
“I would like next year to shoot a real feature so Mind Fuck is like training for that,” Ferrara said.
The cast of Mind Fuck includes Rita Faltoyano, Sandra Romain, Kylie Ireland, Bobbi Eden and Amber Peach along with Ferrara, Michael Stefano, Mr. Pete, John Strong and Erik Everhard.
Ferrara’s favorite scene is the production’s Romain/Stefano pairing with Romain playing a crazed woman in an insane asylum with Stefano as her eventually-overpowered guard.
“I think that is probably the best scene I’ve ever shot. She’s perfect for that scene and he’s perfect for that scene. They both completely understood what I wanted from them. She was completely crazy and he went from the submissive situation to the dominant situation. As soon as he is freed, he becomes the one in control,” Ferrara said.
Mind Fuck comes as a two-disc set and contains Ferrara’s first-ever director’s commentary where he discusses the scenes with fellow Red Light District director Jake Malone. Mind Fuck is scheduled to be released on Wednesday.
