Maili Lei Wins Peach Girl Model Search in Hawaii

Maili Lei, a 26-year-old, nursing student and exotic dancer, won the Peach Girl Model Search in Hawaii and will represent Honolulu at the Finals in July.

Lei, a sophomore at the University of Hawaii, came to the Pipeline Caf? on May 25 solely to see Peach Girl Teanna Kai. That's when things got interesting.

"I know all the owners and the promotions guys who were helping the Peach Girls. I didn't intend to enter the contest," Lei, who went home with $1,000 that night, told AVN.com. But they coaxed her into the contest, even though she didn't bring a bikini. "? It was fun, I had the home crowd in my favor."

Lei has danced for the past five years at Femme Nu, one of the top strip clubs on the island. She managed to beat out 10 other contestants by dancing around in jeans and a small suede top.

"I got topless but I had stickers on my nipples," she said.

The day after the event Lei made her video debut in a new Peach DVD. Peach shot her on the North Shore at sunset.

"I was a nervous wreck. That was the first time I had done that," she admitted. "We just did some bikini stuff in the water, playing around a little. It was super fun. – They saved the most gorgeous light for me."

Lei travels to the mainland a few times a year and is looking forward to the Peach Model Search Finals at Club Rain at the Palms in Las Vegas. The winner will be offered an exclusive performance and promotional contract with Peach.

"I'd love to be the new contract girl, but I don't want to move to LA," Lei said. "There's not enough pretty water in California."

The 5-foot-6, 124-pound former personal trainer and aerobics instructor is Filipino and Irish. She has green eyes, which she says are her best feature. She likes to cook, run and do yoga to relax.

"Nothing compares to Honolulu, the water, the surf, the laid-back atmosphere. The mountains and water are 10 minutes from each other," Lei told AVN.com, revealing one of her sexual fantasies. "? I always wanted to be tied to a bamboo in the forest and just railed."

She said she won the contest probably because of her ability to hype up the crowd, but still she says, "I was really shocked. It felt good."
