Mahaffey Named Falcon President

Falcon Studios vice president/chief financial officer Terry Mahaffey has been named president and chief creative officer, with Todd Montgomery brought in as vice president and  chief operating officer.

“Since the 1970s the Falcon brand has been synonymous with the most beautiful male images,” said Mahaffey in an announcement. “Today, as the premier destination for gay adult content, we are enhancing our capabilities and increasing our offerings to transform Falcon from a successful production house into a multimedia, global entertainment company.  As part of this initiative, Todd Montgomery has been appointed chief operating officer.”

“Falcon is the gold standard by which all gay adult content is judged,” he said in his own statement. “We’re poised for tremendous growth as we strengthen our relationship with existing customers and introduce the brand to a younger audience.  I’m pleased to be leading this effort.”

Mahaffey has a quarter century's adult industry experience and was a protégé of Falcon founder and gay adult pioneer Charles Holmes when he joined Falcon in 1996. He's been the company's controller and vice president of finance, but Falcon Studios says Mahaffey played "a prominent role" implementing Holmes's artistic vision as well.

Montgomery most recently helped Levi Strauss & Co. launch its new Levi Strauss Signature brand. The fifteen-year hi-tech and healthcase industry veteran has a background in consumer and business marketing, operations, and strategic planning.
