According to Mad Jack of Las Vegas, his business partner, on Saturday, "stole everything and cleaned the office out." Jack's now ex-partner is Damon Younger, the about-to-be ex Mr. Catalina L'Amour.
Jack: "He was the other half of Charm Productions. I had Mila here, and Candi Roxx. We were waiting for him to show up. He didn't show up. We went to the office and everything was gone. This was in Vegas. He's created such problems. I live in a halfway house. I was recently out of prison. He [Younger] went down to the halfway house and said the company was not what we said it was, that it was porn-related. Of course, they wouldn't allow me to do any adult stuff while I was there. [Mad Jack told the halfway house the story that they were doing safety and training videos.]
"He [Younger] basically went off the deep end and got me in a lot of trouble. It was working wonderfully until he wrote this letter. Unfortunately, in doing so, by leaving this three-page letter at the halfway house, they decided to investigate him and turned it over to the feds. He introduced himself to the halfway house under one name then wrote this letter under his real name. What sparked their curiosity was the fact that he was using an alias. They said something's real funny here and we're going to get to the bottom of it. Some serious problems could arise for him over this. I can't believe that he could be this stupid.
"Basically we're out of business, and I'm going to be out of business until the first part of June when I get out of the halfway house. Unfortunately we were really going good. He stole the computer or else I would have e-mailed all this over to you. I'm totally flabbergasted with this whole thing. I think in all honesty his break up with Catalina made him decide to take his wrath out on me. She moved out on him. He was going to move here. We argued from Day One with this thing. I met him when I was in prison. I've know Kevin Beech for 15 years, and I introduced him to Kevin and got him started shooting some stuff for Kevin. I was still locked up knowing in January I was going to take over and run the production company. I used to do that for Bill Amerson for Penguin.
"Basically, I'm a controlling individual, but he had only been doing fetish stuff with Catalina. He didn't know this side of the business. He's always been in financial straits, so when I tried running it realistically, as opposed to spending every dime that came in which he likes to do, we were at each other's throats. I had threatened to buy him out as soon as I had enough money and go out on my own and not deal with him anymore. I guess there was a quiet before the storm. He came into town Thursday. We were going to shoot on Saturday. On Saturday Mila didn't show up through no fault of her own. She didn't get to town until 2 o'clock.
"I had a swing club booked for the shoot early in the morning. By the time we showed up there Damon said the people had locked up the club and said we were taking too long to get there. I found out the following day that that wasn't true at all. He called the shoot off and told them to leave. I swung by the office and I found out that he cleaned out the office. He hit me pretty hard. I'll start from scratch again. I've done it before. In the meantime, he's acting like a maniac. I just wanted to put the word out there that Mad Jack is not going to disappear. He's [Younger] not answering the phone."
Au contraire. Younger did answer the phone. Younger said he had been involved with Mad Jack since January but offers a decidedly different account of what happened in recent days.
Younger: "Yes, I did clean the office out. He's not a partner. He's out of prison, he's on parole, and I had him as an office manager. I think he thought he was a partner, because, unbeknownst to me when I was in Los Angeles, he got a hold of my checkbook and started writing my name on checks and doing business.
"42 checks are missing, and now I think I know where a lot of missing money went. I've gone ahead and asked the bank to look those checks up and see how much money is missing. When I found that out, I just stopped operations totally. I put a halt on everything. I faxed a letter to his parole board, and I told them that the D.A. would get the copies of those checks and they'd have to take it from there. Then I cleaned the office out. Everything in the office belongs to me. He came out of prison with the shirt on his back. He had a sense of being a partner, and I think he had it driven in his head that he was a half-owner, so that he was qualified to make these decisions and do what he wanted. He went way over board.
"I was in California a lot dealing with this pending divorce, that's why I wasn't in the office to see what was really going on. As things progress I'll be glad to send you things from the D.A. to verify all this stuff. I called the halfway house and told them, on top of my checks being missing, that they should know he also misrepresented himself getting a Nevada driver's license, that he contracted for a credit card.
"When you're on parole you're not supposed to go into contracts. Not only that, when I got into my computer system, it was completely filled with pornography that he downloaded off the Internet. I told him I didn't want my computer filled up with anything off the Internet that smacked with pornography. I didn't appreciate it. It was also filled with things like how to slide by on drug tests. All this stuff's on my computer. I'm going to make copies of it and send it to you. I just don't appreciate being a patsy. Especially in lieu of the fact that I'm going through a lot of emotional turmoil here in California with my wife and so forth. I didn't need this added thorn in my side. I have stopped Charm Productions. For one thing it was a partnership in California with my wife. When we broke up, she stopped it here. When I started it in Nevada, and when he started writing all those checks, I just froze my bank account.
"I've stopped Charm Productions in Nevada. I'm in limbo with it. Here's this guy on parole from prison. He can't be a partner to anything. I can have him on as an office manager, but to assume that you're a partner because you're in the office, is like a paralegal saying they're the lawyer. Now he's calling everybody and running his story. That's all he has is the phone. I wish he had his phone when he ran up an $800 phone bill that I'm going to pay for. He's busy talking to all these girls. Another thing is the way he was conducting business.
"Here's how bad it was. I had to sleep in the office because my wife cleaned out the house. I couldn't afford to stay in hotels, so I got to listen to him working all these girls trying to get them to be his sugar momma. That phone bill ran through the roof. I was getting sick of it. My wife and I were married for 14 years. We were monogamous the whole time. I thought that was a helluva deal. I was so proud of the fact that she and I were able to put out a quality adult product. That was a real, rare thing. But, emotionally, she's got a lot to work out."
The Pinky Stolbach sightings from last week have been narrowed to Stroud's in Encino.
