When MTV decided to do a segment on the Nimbus 2000 broom, a vibrating toy based on the broom Harry Potter uses to fly in the popular Harry Potter movies, which gained notoriety when people began pointing out that the vibrating toy vibrated a little too well.
So well that the makers of the toy, Mattel, took it off the market after consumer reviewers at major E-tailers such as Amazon.com started harping on the broom's vibrating abilities.
MTV wanted to know how well the Nimbus 2000 would function as a vibrator for their show Big Urban Myth, so they turned to Topco Sales spokesperson Jennifer O'Gorman.
"They wanted to know if it was quality and if it were possible for the Nimbus 2000 to bring girls to orgasm," O'Gorman told AVN.com. "I told them it could - but I recommended that 'older' girls might prefer the TLC 100X, a vibe that plugs in to your USB port, or one of our eglass items."
Big Urban Myth airs Tuesdays at 10:30PM. The episode featuring the Nimbus 2000 will air in late May or early June.
