Mansion Productions, developers of the popular back-end affiliate software MPA3, have announced a service allowing users with WAP-enabled mobile phones or PDAs to get statistics on the go.
Both program owners and affiliates who patronize programs that use MPA3 can get mobile access to such statistics as uniques, trials, free trials, full price, conversions, rebills, chargebacks and total payout.
“Instead of sitting in front of a computer all day, if you’re on a way to a meeting you can get immediate access to your stats, whether you’re an affiliate or an admin. In both cases, they can also know that that program is up and running at all times,” Mansion CEO Oystein Wright told AVNOnline.com.
While the WAP package isn’t as pretty and contains less information than the HTML computer-bound one, it has already been met with a great deal of enthusiasm by MPA3 users, particularly European customers, according to Wright.
“Here, you have a set amount of functionality. So you get your sales, you get your conversion ratios – you don’t really need more either. If there were anything more than that, I wouldn’t even know what to do with them. It’s just the important stats for sales and conversions,” he said.
The feature is free to anyone using MPA3 products and will be standard on future upgrades of the software.
Affiliates can utilize it by logging in to their affiliate account, adding their phone number and setting the frequency of their updates.
“That is really the cool thing – this isn’t just for the people who own the program, it’s for any Webmasters who sent traffic to a program using MPA3,” Wright said.
