MP3Dollars Paying Extra Revenue On Dialer Traffic

MP3Dollars announced they will now pay a 50/50 split with affiliates on all subscription revenue generated through dialer traffic.

With the addition of dialers, MP3 Dollars, the affiliate program for subscription help and resources site MP3DownloadHQ.com, now has the ability to pay affiliates for traffic generated internationally. The addition of dialer revenue to MP3Dollars affiliates' commissions should significantly increase subscriptions from non-U.S. visitors, the company said.

Dialer payment solutions provider Goodthinxx is supplying the technology.

"It's refreshing to see a company think outside the box and want to pay their Webmasters for all the traffic they generate, not only on credit cards or checks, but also on dialers," Goodthinxx Los Angeles sales director Holly Moss told AVN.com.

"Other programs run dialer payment solutions, but this is the first time affiliates are able to get a cut of the profits generated from converting their foreign traffic," added affiliate marketing manager Jim Lillig.

Parent company MP3DownloadHQ.com focuses on assisting users to learn the ins and outs of peer-to-peer file sharing software. Subscribers pay for access to a wide resource database of file-sharing software reviews, tutorials, and FAQs on how to download, install, and use the software to its best capability. Help is also available through 24/7 tech assistance via e-mail.

While foreign traffic usually accounts for only 10 to 15 percent of the overall traffic mix for music help sites, MP3DownloadHQ said, foreign subscribers tend to convert better since they are generally not as familiar with the music downloading process as U.S. users. The result is a higher than average visitor-to-subscriber ratio for the foreign populations being driven to the site.
