MEGAFLYNT

Larry Flynt \nMONROE, OH - Larry Flynt simply refused to go gently into that good grey Ohio night without a fight - the Hustler emperor has purchased a site for a megastore along the lines of Hustler Hollywood.

Flynt has been hunting a site between Cincinnati and Dayton after his Cincinnati store was ordered closed in early November. He had planned to open a store next to a Bristol strip club in October, but the group Citizens for Community Values threatened to push for legal action against that store.

And the Associated Press says Butler County officials aren't too thrilled about Flynt buying a plot for a megastore now. "If he is going to come to Butler County, be ready to bring along a couple of lawyers," says Butler County Prosecutor John Holcombe - to which Flynn replies, "Not only will I bring two lawyers, I'll bring a dozen."

Flynt reportedly confirmed Friday that bought the one-acre commercial site and hopes to have it open for business early in 2000. His brother Jimmy made the $300,000 purchase and describes the store as a combination video, hip clothing, lingerie, and novelty shop, among other things.
