Ford ran an unsubstantiated story yesterday which contained a volume of allegations against agent Reb Sawitz - everything from child pornography to what might be constituted as physical abuse. The story supposedly stems from an account rendered by a Florida dancer named Cherry Poppins in which Poppins was supposed to have lived in a state of physical squalor in exchange for doing sex scenes for Sawitz. In a phone conversation last night with Bill Margold, Poppins has denied ever talking to Ford or making any such accusations against Sawitz. Sawitz says it's lawyer-time.
