Lucas Entertainment to Offer Web Blog

Adding to its extensive roster of video content, Lucas Entertainment announced this week that they will be adding a Web blog to its site. The new site, LucasBlog.com, will chart all that latest goings-ons, including behind-the-scenes on-set reports, weekly letters from company President and CEO Michael Lucas, and much more.

According to Lucas, the blog will be one way to keep fans not only in the loop about Lucas Entertainment’s latest coups, but as de facto voyeurs living vicariously through the blog’s content. “If you’ve always wanted to know what it’s like to work at an adult company, this it,” Lucas says in a press release. “No other company out there has a blog unveiling the kinds of behind-the-scenes content we will. I want people to see the sexy, glamorous side to this business, but also how much committed effort and hard work goes into it.”

The new blog comes on the heels of one created to track the development and production of Lucas’ next big release, an X-rated version of the oft-filmed Dangerous Liaisons. The site (www.dangerousliaisonsxxx.com) is said to have received thousands of hits in its first two weeks alone, and, says its writer Bryan Christopher, gave Lucas and company the inspiration for LucasBlog. “The response to [the Dangerous Liaisons] blog was overwhelming,” Christopher says. “The next logical step for us was to expand the scope of it. We plan to run in-depth profiles of the hottest models, diary entries from our sassy Auditions series, and, of course, weekly letters from Michael himself that are too hardcore for other blogs to handle. You know he always has something provocative to say!”

Lucas will also unveil a new weekly celebrity interview series on the blog site. Available at no charge, the series will feature chats with pop culture figures such as Boy George (who composed the music for Lucas’ Manhattan Heat), RuPaul, Graham Norton, Michael Musto, Bruce Vilanch, The Lady Bunny, and others. Says Christopher, “The interviews are hilarious and surprisingly in-depth. Michael has already filmed 10 with some of his celebrity friends, but he plans to do more featuring adult industry personalities as well. He’s scouting for new faces and industry veterans as we speak. Think of him as the X-rated Oprah.”

LucasBlog.com will go live at midnight on May 16. For more information, see www.lucasentertainment.com.
