'Love, Sex & TV News' Hits the Streets ... and YouTube

HOLLYWOOD, California—Adult director Will Ryder is never one to shy away from spreading the word on his movies. But we believe him when he says that he is truly impressed with the performance given by his leading lady in Love, Sex & TV News.

With her performance as news producer Maggie McCormick, Ryder is convinced Vandella will be turning critical heads during awards season.

Produced by Adam & Eve Pictures, Love, Sex & TV News is an original comedy that peers inside the bustling studios of a Los Angeles television news station. The movie is out on the streets, and a SFW movie trailer has just been released on YouTube.

AVN Hall of Famer Ryder brought together an impressive cast of top adult thespians for the movie, which features Vandella at its center.

"I dare you to show me a girl that turned in a better performance this year," Ryder said. "This could be the best acting performance of the year, male or female, and she deserves an award nomination."

Ryder discussed the project in detail with Vandella before casting her, and says he came away convinced he was making the correct decision. "She's really quite good," he asserted.

Vandella calls it "one of the great experiences of my life." She said, "I was so happy when I got the role because the character Maggie is a real person with real problems and dreams. And to play a career-minded TV producer within an original comedy was a huge challenge, but the script was so good I knew this would be a special movie."

A humorous take on the fast-paced world of TV journalism, Love, Sex & TV News focuses on News 10 Los Angeles and its talented and gorgeous producer. As the station’s ratings begin to slip, along with Maggie’s love life, she turns to the world of high-end escorts to get a scoop that will bring in viewers. With her boss breathing down her neck, she sets about reviving her career ... and her sex life.

The cast alone should make Love, Sex & TV News of great interest to fans of adult comedies. Carmen Caliente, Anya Ivy, Chad White, Kurt Lockwood and Roy Karch did good work in Ryder's Not the Jersey Boys XXX, and Frank Bukkwyd, who plays Vandella's boss, is a well-regarded non-sex performer. Also in the cast are adult stars Skin Diamond, Janice Griffith, Capri Cavanni, Seth Gamble, Nick Manning, Alec Knight, Karen Summer, Josie Jagger, Jenna Marie, Kendall and Lucky Starr.

In addition to the feature, the DVD offers 96 minutes of extras including behind-the-scenes footage, interviews, a photo gallery, a bonus sex scene and more. The feature has a running time of 119 minutes.
