Lifestyles Party Swings Till Dawn

Hosted by Freedom Distributing, the second annual Lifestyles Organization party was almost all about swinging. Club Seven, at the corner of Harmon and the Strip, was already buzzing well before midnight as a crowd of mostly couples in the 30s-40s age bracket streamed in steadily.

The major porn presence was sexagenerian actor Dave Cummmings, who actually entered adult video by way of the swinging community. Dave, like many other guests, showed up early and stayed late.

“In my first ten minutes here,” he said, “I saw eight couples that I’ve had sex with the wives. This is like old home week.

He surveyed a back room where about 20 couples were lounging on chairs and couches. “These people are ready to party,” he leered. “It usually starts with a couple of girls getting together, and then everybody else joins in, If you stick around for two hours, you’re liable to see people fucking like crazy.”

Dave’s estimate of hijinx to come was a bit optimistic. Burly security guards patrolled the club to ensure that nobody really got down all the way. But there was a whole lot of hanky panky going on anyway. The party was a “meet and greet” affair, where couples cruise, connect and make dates for private action later.

Dave himself was networking with a thirtysomething blonde named Debbie. He said she was interested in appearing with him in Vol. 46 of Screw My Wife, Please, the swinger-oriented series he does for Wildlife Productions.

Presiding over everything was Freedom Distributing owner Paul Interlandi, who produces the AVN–award nominated Lifestyles video series. (Latest releases are Wild Miami Convention and Stardust). He and the Lifestyles Organization had recruited couples on the Internet from all over the country to attend the party and the Adult Expo.

The bash at Club Seven also attracted a fair amount of porn industry workers who were in the mood for something new. Interlandi stressed the difference between his party and everybody else’s. “This is all couples, not a whole bunch of guys just staring at one porn star.”

But Interlandi had a couple of stars of his own. He introduced Nicky, a leggy, brown-tressed dancer from Florida who was chosen Ms. Lifestyles at last summer’s Stardust Hotel get-together. She represents the Organization at various swinger conventions—and also, Interlandi said, does a killer pole dance.

And then there’s Grace, a pretty Filipina whose sparkling personality led her to be chosen as host of the two new Lifestyles videos. She’s on the box cover of the Stardust release.

The evening’s feature event was a Shadow Dancing contest, the winner of which got an all expenses-paid trip to Desire in Cancun.

Interlandi estimated that over 200 couples and about 150 adult industry personnel attended the party, which broke up in the wee small hours.
