Lexington Steele to Appear on Showtime's ‘Weeds’

CANOGA PARK, Calif. - Mercenary Pictures owner Lexington Steele will appear on two episodes of the popular Showtime drama “Weeds.”

The episodes Steele appears in are “He Taught Me How to Drive By” and “The Two Mrs. Scottsons,” scheduled for broadcast on Sept. 24 and Oct. 1, respectively. Steele appears prominently as himself in the episodes.

“I'm approaching my tenth year in the adult business and one of my greatest achievements to date is appearing in ‘Weeds,’ a mainstream show that I watch regularly,” said Steele. “Appearing as Lex Steele is a testament to Lexington Steele being a household name.”

Steele’s casting comes on the heels of the completion of his reality and talk show pilots, his appearance on Black Entertainment Television's “Meet the Faith” and TV One's “Baisden After Dark,” hosted by national radio personality Michael Baisden. He will also appear in an upcoming episode of FX Networks' “Nip/Tuck.”

“I have always represented the adult video community in a way that can make all of us very proud of our business,” continued Steele. “The mainstream has recognized Ron Jeremy and Jenna Jameson as representatives of today's porno, but I offer an alternative to the way the industry is presented to the mainstream media. It is my honor to be one of today's faces of adult video.”
