Lex Steele wants his fans to see things exactly the way he does, and he was willing to wait in order to do it right. “I always planned to do my own POV movies,” Steele told AVN.com, “but I wanted to wait until I had complete ownership of my product. I knew that if I offered a Lex Steele POV, sales would be really strong.”
The time has come: Today, September 2nd, Mercenary Pictures released the first volume of Pole Position: Lex POV, and the three-time AVN Male Performer of the Year and director couldn’t be more excited.
“This is really something special,” he said. “Number one, there really aren’t any big-dick POV movies available. This is also the only spectacular interracial POV available. There are some other interracial POVs, but they can’t compare.”
Steele is even energized by the title of the series, which came naturally to the rabid sports fan.
“I use a lot of sports analogies in all my endeavors. I think Pole Position is a fantastic title for the POV genre. Visually, you think pole -- you think 11-inch dick. You think pole position in sports, you think front of the pack. That’s where I’m taking you.”
Steele had once suggested Ramrod: Lex POV as a title, which he says was to keep the “Pole Position” title off the market but still float the idea that a point of view series was on its way. “It was always going to be ‘Pole Position’,” he claimed.
Lex noted that he shot his POV picture using the larger Panasonic DVS instead of the usual, smaller Sony cameras, which made a big difference. “It’s the top of the food chain,” Steele said. “How is this guy able to use that big, heavy camera in a POV movie? I’m a strong individual and work out all the time. Most people couldn’t use this big of a camera.”
Steele promised that the technical rewards are worth the extra work. “I have a very big dick, so I need a wide angle to get the right shot. This camera has 30 percent more frame space than a Sony. I’m also able to zoom in so that I don’t lose any clarity. I can get those hyper, extremely hardcore shots.”
Steele made the first volume in Prague to take advantage of what he feels is the best available talent pool. The star, who asked that fans check out lexsteele.com and lexonblondes.com in addition to his new series, also looks forward to the second release, which was shot domestically.
“Volume Two is going to be every bit the explosion that Volume One was. A lot of the girls in the first one didn’t want to talk. They feel stupid, which they shouldn’t, if they’re just speaking in Czech for the English audience. Shooting domestically gave the performers a chance to bring vocal momentum to the picture.”
Steele promises good times ahead. “If they liked Volume One, Volume Two will finish them off.”
