Lauren Montgomery

Lauren Montgomery is probably the last porn performer you'd expect to show up on the 11 o'clock news. Actually, she didn't. It was the ten o'clock news, and Montgomery was the media flavor du jour this past Monday. Unfortunately, it was under a very sad set of circumstances. Montgomery was repped by the late talent agent Hal Guthu who took his life, according to police.

Montgomery: "I was with him for a few years. I got a call from Reb [Sawitz] Monday telling me what happened. The Channel 13 came down. Channel 11 came down. Everybody wanted to talk to me. They said they wanted somebody from the adult industry. They came to the set and interviewed me. [Montgomery was on the set of Fetish in Wonderland for Seduction Productions].

"They even mentioned the movie on Channel 13 which I thought was cool. I was so shocked when Rob called me. I hadn't talked to Hal for about six months because I've been so busy with the website-thing, laurenmontgomery.com. Has was my agent for soft stuff. He booked me when mainstream people would come to him looking for a girl - like Playboy, HBO, Cinemax, that kind of stuff. He'd send me on auditions and stuff like that. Somebody just told me about him. I called him and he told me to come on down. He liked my look and put me in his book. He started getting me work right away."

G. Ross: "You were in a Warren Beatty movie."

Montgomergy: "Yeah. Town and Country. I also did some modeling that was more Internet-based. He also got me things like that. I liked Hal. I thought he was a sweet old guy.

"I've had laurenmontgomery.com up two years but haven't done too many changes on it. We just redid it. It's all new and so much better. That's something I'm really excited about."

[Montgomery suggests you check out Hardcore Hairdresser and her anal scene in that for VCA Pictures.]

"I'm also the lead in this feature Fetish in Wonderland. Hopefully we'll get on Howard Stern with this. I think it'll be good publicity for the movie and with my background he'll be interested to have me on and harass me a little bit. I swore I would never go on there, but I think I'm ready. I didn't want to go on until I got my website where I wanted it. It's along the liner of what Toshi Gold does with Jill Kelly in those Skin movies. It's along the lines of that."

Montgomersy said she's going to get a lot more involved with the D=Free Speech Coalition. "I'm starting to feel more strongly about politics," she said. "We need people out there representing us. I'm even going to have a section on my website about Free Speech and try to get fans to join. I'm going to start putting myself a little more into the limelight but I want it to be in the positive aspect."
