Last Dance For Ginger Lynn; After Two-Decades of Dancing the Music Stops

Tonight Ginger Lynn will make her swan song appearance as a feature dancer in the same city where she began dancing two decades ago.

Lynn, who toured relentlessly during her career – sometimes three months at a time with back-to-back bookings every night- chose the anniversary of her first adult video performance to bow out from a career that lasted twenty-years, during which time she created a lasting impression as one of the icons of the adult industry.

Lynn is one of the few adult performers who was able to cross over to the mainstream at any level, something she continues to do today. Most recently she landed a reoccurring role on Skin, the Fox series that was canceled after two shows.

Lynn will be appearing tonight at the Appaloosa Showbar in Colorado Springs, where she will also be roasted by industry insiders and friends. Stephanie Swift, Kylie Ireland, Jennifer Steele, Kurt Lockwood, Ava Vincent, AVN’s Mark Kernes, Wankus and publicist Jason Sechrest were among those who flew to dinner to help commemorate the occasion.

“I know that Ginger feels that it is an incredible honor that all of these people have come out to support her. There were many more who wanted to come but were not able to,” Sechrest, Lynn’s publicist, told AVN.com “But those who could not attend called, sent gifts, or let her know that they cared. It’s been heartwarming for her. She knows that this is her family and she has been blessed to have been so embraced and loved over the last twenty years by both the fans and the industry itself.”

Lynn will now concentrate on her duties as a mother, as a producer/director fro her own adult production company, Ginger Bred Productions, and as a mainstream actress. She recently landed a role in the indie film Kisses and Carons.

Always the entrepreneur, Lynn invites locals to bring photos and videos of themselves down to the Appaloosa Showbar and apply for a role in Lynn’s Ginger Picks series, a reality series for porn star wannabes

The Appaloosa Showbar is located at 5975 Terminal Ave. in Colorado Springs, Colorado, 80915. The show begins at 8:00p.m. (MT).
