LFP Video Group Hires New Creative Director

LFP Video Group has announced the appointment of Drew Rosenfeld as the new director of creative development.

Rosenfeld, an eight-year adult industry veteran, is in charge of creating new product for Hustler Video and VCA Pictures, establishing new video lines and overseeing projects currently in production.

"Mr. Rosenfeld has many years of experience in production and in creating hot new concepts and ideas," said Hustler Video producer Marc Kramer. "We welcome his expertise and his passion for bold new products. I think he will be a great asset to Hustler Video."

Rosenfeld previously owned and operated Satsuma Studios in North Hollywood until the facility was forced out by local residents.

"I got run out of town like a bad western," Rosenfeld said. "The neighbors petitioned for me to leave. They didn't want an adult business in their neighborhood."

After the demise of Satsuma, Rosenfeld worked as a freelance editor. "I was out of the business for nine months. I moved to Chicago. Then I got a call from Marc Kramer asking me if I was interested in working for Larry Flynt," Rosenfeld said. "I wouldn't have come back to Los Angeles to work for Billy Bob's Porn Company, but it was Hustler, and I knew it would be a great opportunity."

Rosenfeld is forthright about his mission at LFP Video.

"I'm looking for directors who are aware of market trends," he said. "At the same time, I am not looking for people who want to jump on the bandwagon with everyone else - I am not looking for copycat porn! It's really tough in this business to find that kind of director. We're looking for stuff that is original, but with an edge."

He cited the recent signings of directors Thomas Zupko, Axel Braun, Andre Madness, Jerry T., David Aaron Clark and Cash Markman, as well as the retention of Hustler's other established directors as evidence of LFP Video's resurgence.

"I'm having a great time already-the caliber of directorial talent we are bringing in is tremendous," he said.
