LFP Renews Distribution Deal with Vivid

LFP Inc. has renewed its contract with Vivid Entertainment Group to exclusively distribute its high-end line of video products in the United States for an additional three years, again solidifying its standing as the world's largest distributor of adult entertainment.

“Vivid is a quality brand and we’re proud to be associated with it," LFP founder Larry Flynt said Thursday. "We think it grew a lot during the first three years of our contract and we expect the same type of growth in their line in the next contract.”

Vivid co-chairman Steven Hirsch confirmed the new pact, saying, “The bottom line is we're very pleased to be with LFP for the next three years. It is definitely good news."

Flynt said that LFP and Vivid are building a strong sales force and together they plan to increase their retail presence with more in-store services such as utilizing the latest retail marketing technology.

“I think Steven and {Vivid president} Bill Asher both are very much in favor of that type of service. I think we can expand our distribution with it,” Flynt continued.

The new deal became effective last week and there will be no transition period, but rather “business as usual,” Flynt said.

“There will be no dramatic changes. ... We discussed everything that needed to be done and I think everyone’s happy,” he said.

The company also distributes its flagship LFP Video and Hustler Video lines, VCA Pictures and its Excessive Entertainment division.
